Email forwarding with BT broadband office

Introduction

To update your MX records with this Domain Name System (DNS) provider, first understand MX records.

Steps

  1. Log in to your account at https://www.bt.com/ by logging in as the primary user of the account under Manage your domain name.
  2. Go to your DNS records (Access the Domain Management Console in the BT Business Your Account area. Select the Domain Maintenance tab and select your domain name.)
  3. First, delete the current MX records that send mail to your old email provider. After that you'll add new MX records for @Emailforward.mx.
  4. To direct your email to your @Emailforward.mx account, you have to add new MX records to your domain. These are the records that you need to add: mx1.emailforwardmx.com with Priority 10 and mx2.emailforwardmx.com. with Priority 20
  5. Click save.
